  2. Review the 'Workout Library' included with eRacePlanner.
  3. Decide on the races you plan to do for the season.
  4. Build your season using the 'Season Builder Wizard' OR create a blank season to 'Build as you go'.
  5. Adapt your season to suit your busy lifestyle.

1.Main Control Panel

Main Control Panel

  • This is the main access point for the program. 
  • Displays an overview of your current season, including the focus and type of each week and the number of weeks to the next race. 
  • Provides access to your 'Training Zones', Programs, Build a new program wizard, Workout Control and a number of tools to change system settings.
  • Access to logged race results for season comparisons.
2.Program Control (Multi-Week)

Program Control

  • Main access point to add, remove, edit and move Workouts, Comments and Races using simple 'click and drop' technology.
  • Copy complete weeks from within the program or from a template.
  • Access a graphical view of your logged workouts for the season. 
  • View Workout and Log data in full using mouse-over technology.  Allows viewing of your complete season without constantly switching views.
  • Add new Workouts to your program. 
  • Print a 'Hard Copy' of your program.

  • eRacePlanner is pre-loaded with a number of workouts to use in planning and adapting your season to your needs.
  • Add your own favorite workouts, such as specific swim, bike and run sessions or local routes & group/club workouts. 
  • If you already have workouts in documents on your computer they can be attached to a workout to save time re-typing them.
  • eRacePlanner uses 'Workout Variations' to reduce the number of workouts in your system.
7.Program Builder Wizard

  • Build your training program in easy to follow steps.
  • Add your planned races for the season and give then a priority.
  • Use simple 'click and drop' technology to add Templates or Templates weeks to your program.
  • View Template descriptions and complete template structure with workout descriptions, from within the wizard
  • Create a blank program to 'build as you go' if required.
8.Training Zone Control

Training Zone Control

  • eRacePlanner comes pre-loaded with 'default' training zone settings.  Use one of the methods in the 'Training Manual' to calculate your lactate threshold and simply enter that value to work out your training zones.
  • You can also fully customize your zones if required.
  • Two 'Non Heart Rate' zones can be used as required (for example, to calculate Run (Pace) zones or Bike (Watts) zones.
  • You can use the 'Swim (Pace)' setting to set a specific pace for your swim workouts in relation to your 'pace' calculation.
9.Hard Copy (PDF)

Hard Copy (PDF)

  • Print part of your season program to put on the fridge or take away with you on a trip.
  • Select options to print out Training Zones, Training Zone Descriptions and spaces for Log Data.
  • Print out previously logged data and workouts for your records.
  • A hard copy is produced in PDF format, and requires you to download a free copy of Adobe Reader to print.
