Hi, I just came across your product and thought it looks very interseting but I have a query....
My main focus is on traiing for the Etape du Tour (gold time) in July so I am only doing a few sprint distance tris this year. Does you software have the flexibility to build progressive overload training to suit the cycling focus within my 07 programme, as well as the triathlon events?
Many thanks,

Although the ERacePlanner is primarily a Triathlon Program builder and does include triathlon training programs (templates), the system has complete flexibility to build your own training program, for triathlon or for cycling.

The system includes a library of cycling workouts, as used by all levels of cyclists. In fact there are at least a few cycling workouts provided in the system that are not used in the triathlon templates, but are provided for athletes who are building their own programs. Workout descriptions always outline the benefits or desired outcomes of the workout.

I believe there are sufficient workouts to provide effective training and variety in your Etape du Tour preparation (approx 200k mountainous cycling race). The ERacePlanner system allows you to add to the workout library, your own workouts or local club rides/routes etc, for inclusion into your program.

As you plan to include sprint triathlons into your competition season, you will have the ability to choose the appropriate sprint triathlon program(s) for your ability/experience level and then plan your cycling
(event-specific) program beyond that.

Re: Your specific concern with building 'Progressive Overload' into your training program; If you're unsure of how this might be structured, when building your own program, you may study the structure of the Ironman Programs included, for some insight into the format for build/easy weeks.

The planning graphs and logging features include in the ERacePlanner system will be very useful tools as you plan and progress through your season.
