A big high five for Coach Kev! Nice race coach! Kevin dominated his age group, bettering the second place finisher by 25 minutes, and placing second overall. The only person to beat Kev to the line was young triathlon superman Jeff Symonds - who I believe is one of the coach's athletes... Way to go fellas.

Thanks for the comments on my 'comeback' race. I hadn't competed since IM Lake Placid in 2006. That time went by so fast! I was very happy with the 2008 UBC Triathlon Olympic Distance Results, given that Jeff came in first and I followed him, in 2nd. I competed as a chance to blow-out-the-cobwebs, before racing Ironman OZ next month. I'll keep you posted on my last few weeks and the race, via a blog which I'll get started on out site here, this week.

Jeff is a 22y.o. Penticton local, with a great future ahead of him, in triathlon. I've been working with him for about 6 months, as he aims for the U23 world championships team, in Vancouver. Thanks again.
